Full Description
Remains of an area of rigs which lies within a wooded area, recorded during historic landscape survey in 1996. The density of tree cover prevented complete assessment and the full extent is unknown, though likely to extend northwards to the Muchalls Burn. The rigs are fragmentary, aligned north-south, varying in wavelength between 8 m and 14 m. the area is bounded on the east by a stone and turf dyke 0.75 m high and 1,.2 m wide, the northern part obscured by heavy tree cover. Immediately east of the flight pond four rigs were observed in the clearing, bounded by a track on the west, and appeared to continue into heavy tree covered to the north. They run north-south and stand up to 0.5 m high
