Full Description
A ditch curves round the northwest side of Castle Hill. There appears to be an earthwork consisting of a ditch and traces of a possible causeway across it towards the north end, which then fades out on the west slope of the hill. The hill has been ploughed and afforested, so the ditch either incomplete or has been ploughed out. There is no known record of a castle having stood here, but the name would suggest some type of defensive structure having been here.
