Full Description

What appear to be a complex series of banks with a large sub-circular enclosure were noted at this location while checking aerial photographs for forestry. A walkover survey by Cameron Archaeology in 2021 (NJ60NW0098) concluded that the apparent features were geological, with bands of bedrock creating terraces and platforms across the hillside. Although it is possible that these terraces have been utilised in the past no archaeological features were recorded.
