Full Description
Grass-covered circular mound. The New Statistical Account (1845) described it as a tumulus believed to have been erected by Bruce's army as a 'post of communication' . It measures 34m by 31m and stands to a maximum height of 1.7m. OS site visit concluded that the mound is natural and certainly not a 'signal station'.
