Full Description
Remains of a probable fort. Across the south end of the promontory is a curved ditch circa 90 metres long. A circa 5 metre wide gap cuts the ditch midway - possibly the original entrance. No trace of defensive works within the enclosed area. RCAHMS (HES) notes that it is a splendid situation for a fort, but that there is insufficient evidence to confirm this interpretation.
