Full Description
Remains of Wessex-type platform barrow. Excavation in 1885 revealed a central pit with cist burial with beaker. The mound was restored after excavation. It now shows as a gorse-covered mound with little stone content which has been placed on a platform which survives in the north arc only, ploughed out elsewhere. Three sherds are all that remain of the beaker, now held in Elgin Museum.
