Full Description
Remains of a gravel pit depicted on the OS 2nd edition map, but which does not appear on the 1st edition sheet. Field survey in May 2022 ahead of a proposed 132kV overhead line (NJ25SE0078) recorded a large potential scoop measuring up to 25 m in diameter and 3 m deep in dense woodland and steep relief..
