Full Description
There were several defensive works on the Haugh of Isla. The farmer says that in dry spells a rectangular area of parched grass shows up on the south slope of the rise. This possibly indicates the presence of building foundations although nothing has been ploughed up. There is a very slight low bank on the south base of the rise.
