Full Description
A sub-circular enclosure measuring approximately 28m across. One dyke, running south, south-east appears to be attached to it. It is not clear if this is the enclosure shown on the 1779 estate plan (National Archives RHP 2296). An area of better or better-preserved stonework in the centre of the northwest side may be the remains of an internal structure. Forestry Commission have also recorded a small building platform at NJ48934247, measuring 8m by 5m.
