Full Description

RCAHMS Survey in 2002 revealed a hut-circle and at least thirty cairns, the majority circular and measuring up to 4m in diameter, situated in rough pasture on a broad ridge about 300m northeast of Drumfottie farmstead. The hut-circle, which is situated at the west end of the spread of cairns, measures about 5m in internal diameter. Its grass-grown boulder wall is up to 1.2m in thickness on the southeast, where there is an entrance, but only 0.6m on the north, where it has been reduced to little more than an arc of individual boulders. Subsequently surveyed by Forestry Commission in 2008.
