Full Description
Possible hut platform. A pre-afforestation walkover survey in 1987 noted that the projecting plateau between the Burn of Wattsleys and the unnamed burn to the northeast showed localised signs of quarrying. Beyond the track to the southeast are traces of a bank running northwest-southeast to join another roughly at right angles. Towards the northwest end of the promontory is one certain levelled platform approximately 13m in diameter (suggested to be a levelled stance for a timber house). A further example lies downslope to the north and there are other, possible, examples on the north slope of this promontory.
