Full Description
A rectangular sheepfold, with an internal division, stands on the west facing slope of Carn Ghrantaich, orientated northeast-southwest. A rectangular sheepfold is depicted near this location on both the OS maps of 1846 and 1888 but the orientation is northwest-southeast. Site surveyed during a pre-afforestation walkover survey carried out in August 2009 by S. Farrell.
