Full Description
Remains of an enclosure. A circular turf-built enclosure with a 1 m wide entrance on the southeast side. Interpreted as a sheepfold. Not depicted on the OS maps. It was also recorded during walkover survey carried out by Liz Jones in June - July 2024 ahead of proposed woodland creation (NJ15SE0079). It measures circa 12 m in diameter, the walls up to 0.7 m high, covered in heather but well defined. There is a similar but smaller depression to the southeast.
