Full Description
A peace memorial is set into the railway embankment at Muchalls. It comprises shield shaped mosaic memorial, circa 6 x 8 m, with the word 'PEACE', the date '1919' and a royal crown on it. The shield was made from cement while the letters and crown were made with brown and other colours of tesserae in a mosaic style. The Memorial was designed by Mr Clark, Superintendent of Duthie Park, and built by Messrs Sellar and Co (builders) of Aberdeen.
