Full Description

Haven dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century. A natural harbour, with railed slipways. The net store is connected with the village by a cableway. Site visit in 2023 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey recorded five surviving winches, and a fairly new wooden railed slipway and new access steps. There was no sign of the apparatus of the cableway. Stone footings of a building on the cliff edge above the cove are probably the remains of a store.
