Full Description

Farmstead and mill complex dating from the early 19th century. The mill is a 3-storey rubble building on an L-plan, including some machinery and an internal overshot wheel. There is a lade and dam on the west side. Also a U-plan steading open to the southeast with two additional rectangular buildings are shown on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. The steading, mill and rectangular building to south of steading survive, but the second building to east of steading is not shown on current maps. The mill building has been converted to a dwelling.
