Full Description
Remains of a field system, comprising a low, roughly L-shaped stony bank and patches of clearance stone. A topographic survey was carried out by Headland Archaeology in 2012 ahead of the proposed Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. The low bank, running north-south, was barely visible, measuring between 1.8 and 3m wide, amnd 0.1m high. It was almost entirely grassed over with stone visible only occasionally. One small stone spread was recorded in the survey area, measuring 5.3m by 2.6m in diameter and 0.15m, also grassed over. No evidence for date of construction or use was found, although they formed part of a larger system extending to the south.
