Full Description
Remains of a farmstead. The range of buildings is reduced to lowest courses of stone walls and of two periods of construction. It is adjoined by two rectangular enclosures 32m by 15m and 19m by 18m. There is a single compartment at the west end of the range and a two-compartment at the east end. Adjacent is an area of rig and furrow. Some 60m to the west are the remains of a further building, 3.4m by 2m. To the northwest is a rectilinear enclosure, 16.4m by 10.6m. The enclosure is the only feature shown on the OS 2nd edition 1888 map - no features appear on the 1st edition.
