House, still in use, built in the early 19th century with later alterations. It is a two-storey with attic, four-bay house with flanking two-storey pavilion wings, and is constructed from red sandstone ashlar with contrasting long and short quoins, render and coursed rubble, and has non-traditional 20th century glazing. The grey slate roof has towering coped ashlar stacks with a full-complement of clay cans and ashlar-coped skews with skewputts. The principal south-west elevation has a centre block with a keystoned and voussoired segmental-arched doorway containing a recessed door and semicircular plate glass fanlight, flanked by widely spaced windows at the ground, four windows to the first floor and three later dormer windows above. The set-back piended wing to the west has a door and plate glass fanlight to the east and a window to the west at the ground floor and two windows to the first floor. The wing to the east mirrors the above, but with a single window to the first floor. The south-east and north-west elevations are blank, and each have a tall wallhead stack. Flat-coped rubble boundary walls are breached and lowered to the south-west.
