Full Description

Remains of a Type 22 pill-box, part of the Cowie Stop Line. It is a variant of the six-sided pill-box, set into the hillside and its three exposed faces to the south. The entrance is on the west from a corridor running into the bank. The two outer faces have double gun loops and there is a single internal brick ricochet wall internally. It may have guarded a wooden temporary bridge.
