Full Description

Site of a World War II pillbox identified on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It was possibly a a type 22, providing a strongpoint near the southern end of a line of anti-tank blocks (NO87SW0246). Site visit in 2023 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey noted the top of anti-tank blocks visible in the storm beach.
