Full Description
Remains of a line of anti-tank blocks. The blocks are visible on RAF photographs taken on May 1946 running from a point near Back Brae (NO 83384 72471 - see NO87SW0127) heading southeast to NO 83398 72448, then south to near Hallgreen Castle where they turn east and run into the sea. The line survives on the south side of the caravan park near the Bervie Water. Site visit in 2023 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey noted tank cubes moved a short distance to the south to make a coastal defence.
