Full Description

Remains of a mill, comprising a roofless, two-storied building which stands on the edge of a stone-lined lade. It was powered by an undershot wheel and incorporates a large drying kiln in the NW corner. The drying floor is fired from a large ornate hearth. A single partition divided the building. Many iron fittings survive on the S wall. The lade is still visible but partially infilled and suffering from slight damage from cattle.
