Full Description

Former manse, still in residential use, built in 1738 with later additions and a modern porch. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as a U-plan building within garden enclosures and featuring a fountain to the west. To the south-east are three associated buildings, including L-plan steadings. On the 2nd edition OS map a sundial is depicted to the north and a small building added to the south. Current OS maps show additions to the former manse. Two of the buildings to the south have been joined or replaced within a larger building, now named Braefoot. One of the L-plan steadings is depicted as having been partially removed, with the remainder roofless, and the other is now named Mansefield. The B-listed former manse is now cement rendered.
