Full Description
Possible recumbent stone circle. The remains comprise a cairn retained by a discontinuous kerb of rough blocks within which is a vague saucer-shaped hollow which, although not concentric, is very suggestive of a ring cairn. To the northeast and east, at a distance of 3.5 m from the perimeter, are small earthfast stones which may be the remains of a surrounding stone circle. A large broken block is almost certainly a displaced recumbent stone. In line to the northeast there are three cairns, without kerbs, up to 5.5 m diameter and 0.4 m high. A possible cairn, 4 m diameter, 0.25 m high lies 5 m to the northwest of the circle/cairn. (See NO87NW0004)
