Full Description
A free-standing, circular, rubble tower on a stepped base, surmounted by a belfry and pyramidal steeple, on top of which is a weathercock. The steeple, the belfry, and the cap were renewed in circa 1880. The tower was built in 1777 to summon weavers of the village to their looms and so regulate their meal hours.
