Full Description

Former corn mill dating from the mid 19th Century, depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition shows two rectangular buildings (mills) alongside a lade fed from a pond to the west. To the southwest is a U-plan steading, wuth an L-plan house set in gardent grounds to the west. The westernmost rectangular building had been removed by the time of the 2nd edition, the remaining one annotated as a corn and saw mill. There have since been further alterations to the steading. The former mill is a 3-storey with attic, 3-bay rubble building. it has been gutted and used as a barn.
