Full Description
Lynchets, rigs and clearance remains which may be related to the fields and farmstead of Brucklaw (NO78NW0014), recorded by Forestry Commission survey 2011. The lynchets cut across the hill from a break in slope below the farmsteads, made by clearing stones to the downslope side of long thin fields. At the base of the slope and lynchets are two broad rigs on what would have been rich haughland. They are overlain by two patches of clearance remains.
