Farmstead, still in use, depicted on historic OS maps. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as a U-plan steading open to the south-east with an attached horsemill. There are five associated buildings, one of which is a large circular building to the south-east. On the 2nd edition OS map the steading court has been partially filled and the horsemill removed. One of the associated buildings has been removed, and there are some additions and alterations to the others. Current OS maps show the steading court has been fully filled, three of the associated buildings, including the large round building, have been removed, with the remaining building having further minor alterations. A Level 1 Standing Building Survey of the steading was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in April 2018 prior to proposed demolition. Various alterations were recorded, including to the section of the steading adjacent to the horsemill relating to the change of use after the horsemill was removed.
