Full Description
The remains of the ruined farmstead of Banffhill stands on the edge of a wood. It is depicted on the 1st edition OS map as U-shaped steading built round a court, with a further building on the southeast side. Only the northern part of the steading appears, roofless, on the OS 2nd edition map. The second building has been enlarged slightly to an L-plan. Another building associated with ruined farmstead of Banffhill is said to lie within the wood at NJ 7870 7260, but this is unlocated.
