Full Description
Fordoun war memorial sits on the small hill to the southeast of Auchenblae. It commemorates the dead of the parish from both World War I and II. It is a rectangular column topped with a small pediment, on top of which is a ball finial. On the front face is an inverted sword over the handle of which is a wreath. Two sprays of foliage cross behind the sword. Below is a rectangular base sitting on a four-stepped plinth. It was erected September 11, 1920.
