Full Description
Remains of fish traps and a mussel scalp recorded by SCAPE Community Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (CCZAS) in 2022. The mussel scalp comprises numerous posts and laid wood as well as moulded sandstone. Remains of five areas of fish traps were identified around this bed. A: a structure made up of two parallel stone curvilinear lines of wooden posts and stone in which moulded stone is common. B: a linear fishtrap structure. C: structure composed of wooden posts and stone. D: linear structure at the edge of a channel. E: possible remains of a fishtrap to the east of the scalp.
