Full Description

Boat house and pier depicted on the OS 2nd edition map and recorded during Moray Community Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (CCZAS) in June 2022. The wooden boathouse, known as Black Hut, measures circa 3.5 by 6 m, with a corrugated metal roof. Remains of the pier comprises two rows, 1.5 m apart, of 1 m tall wooden uprights with remnants of horizontal timbers. There is a concrete block at the boathouse end of the pier. The present pier appears to be on a slightly different alignment to that shown on the 2nd edition map so possibly a replacement.
