Full Description
The war memorial of Benholm and Johnshaven stands on New Road near the square and commemorate the dead from the parish of Benholm from both World War I and II. It is a tapering rectangular column surmounted by a cross decorated with Celtic knot-work on a small base decorated with thistles. It stands on a solid rectangular stepped base.
