Former depot and office, now disused, containing an earlier building depicted on historic OS maps. The site is shown on the 1st edition OS map as four rectangular buildings, the two largest joining to form an L-plan at the southern end of the sire. On the 2nd edition OS map an additions four buildings have been added. Current OS maps show a larger building now covers the southern area of the site, incorporating or replacing the two buildings that were shown on the 1st edition map as in an L-plan. The remaining buildings have all been removed, those to the north replaced with a later building (Number 58). A Level 1 Standing Building Survey was carried out by Alder Archaeology in September 2017 prior to proposed demolition. This recorded one of the earlier buildings that had formed an L-plan remains within the pre-fabricated steel portal frame warehouse. It is a two-storey masonry building that backed onto Mill Lane to the west. The north-west and south-east interior elevations of the main building feature gable ends that extend to the full height of the modern building. Number 58 was also recorded in the Survey. It is a single-storey former office building with concrete block walls, tiled roof and harled exterior, and was built post-WWII.
