Full Description

House, now disused, depicted on historic OS maps. It is shown on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps as a rectangular building, which is unchanged in plan on current OS maps. A Level 1 Standing Building Survey was carried out by Alder Archaeology in September 2017 prior to proposed demolition. The survey recorded the building as being single-storey with an attic and basement, and is constructed from rubble with a harled front elevation and concrete block sandstone effect cladding to the south-east and north-east elevations. To the rear is a small garden containing a white-painted brick outhouse. The neo-classical façade and some other internal features are later alterations.
