Full Description

The footings of a small farmstead, with the remains of a horse or whin mill, lie in an area of rough grass. There are also footings of other houses and enclosures. The farmstead is depicted on the OS map of 1867 as two buildings on an L-plan, the western one with an attached horsemill, and an enclosure. The horsemilll does not appear on the OS 2nd edition 1888 map which shows only a roofless rectangular building.
