Full Description

House, now disused, built in the later 19th century. It is a two-storey, three-bay, irregular-plan house constructed from grey-pink Aberdeen bond granite ashlar, with an entrance tower, Italianate and domestic Gothic details, overhanging eaves, plate glass sash and case windows and a grey slate roof with tall coped gablehead and ridge stacks. There is a three-stage engaged entrance tower to the south and a depressed-arched doorway with a pointed arch hoodmould. A service wing to the west has an octagonal louvered ventilator with a tapered roof, and there is a later wing to the east. There is an associated stables/coach house with a corbelled, timber-framed first floor.
