Full Description
The foundations of a modern structure lie just inside the wood. There are small clearance cairns in the locality, though it is not clear whether these in fact relate to the modern structure or whether they are more ancient. In February 2008 the area was clear-felled and what were seen as potential clearance cairns can now be confirmed. Furthermore, there are strong suggestions of possible 'linking' stretches of dyke.
