Full Description
Inchmarlo House was originally a two-storey 5-bay mansion house with plain symmetrical south front. Harled exterior with granite ashlar dressings, built in 1750. A third storey was added with a balustraded parapet in 1850 and renovated in 1949. Now in use as a private retirement home.
Period Notes
From 1750. Reconstructed 1823. 3rd storey raised and flat roof with balustrade added 1850. Earlier burnt east wing replaced 1987. Renovated in 1949; undergone major renovation's in 1980's.
