Full Description

Pill-box dating from World War II on the north side of the Bridge of Dye, built into a wall between the old and the new road. It is of non-standard design (oblate in shape) made of coursed red granite with a concrete roof over corrugated iron shuttering. The entrance is to the south of the wall facing southeast. There are four loops, one facing the bridge, two facing northwards along the approach road and one in the easternmost corner providing cover to the eastern pillbox.
