Full Description
A level terrace enclosed on the north and west by a broad low stone dyke or linear clearance cairn, recorded during pre-afforestation survey. Rapid walkover carried out by D Hall in March 2021 ahead of proposed woodland creation scheme recorded a dyke at NO 60258 76888 on the west side of the burn crossing it to the south to meet the burnt mound (NO67NW0018). The first 8 m of this stretch of dyke was a low stony bank before a broad line (5 m wide) of boulders began.
