Full Description

Remains of a farmstead/ field system comprising a farmstead with associated kiln, yards and field system of the period before the agricultural improvements. There are the remains of two rectangular buildings. The larger has four compartments, the smaller (set at right angles to the other) is 11 m long and has two compartments. The corn drying kiln lies to the south-southwest. A further possible building, with yard attached lies circa 35 m to the south-southeast. Fragments of the associated field system lie in the area. Nothing is shown at this location on either the 1st or 2nd edition OS maps.
