Full Description

Remains of farmstead comprising three rectangular buildings, all reduced to lower courses of their walls. One incorporates a probable kiln. Immediately above the farmstead is the remains of a pond or slurry pit. A field-bank adjoins the farmstead, another bank runs downslope from the southwest corner of the first field 35m east-southeast of the farmstead is another small square structure. Recorded as 'West Park', abandoned between 1864 and 1901. Four buildings and two enclosures are recorded on the 1st edition OS map, where the farmstead is called 'Knowgreens' and marked as a public house. By the second edition OS map one of the buildings has been removed and the remainder are abandoned.
