Full Description

Memorial fountain built in 1876, designed by Wardrop and Reid. Late gothic memorial to memory of Fox Maule Ramsay, 11th Earl of Dalhousie and 2nd Baron of Panmure. Octagonal, unpolished red granite with a cusped depressed arch open stage and stepped buttresses rising into a crown top with a ball and cross finial. Originally located in front of the Mechanics Institute in Brechin (NO56SE0179) NO 59565 60190.
