Full Description

Bleach works dating from the 18th century and depicted on the OS 1st edition map as a complex of at least seven buildings, served by a lade which runs from the northwest (NO66SE0235). By the time of the 2nd edition map the larger buildings at the western end of the site had been removed. Those at the east remain, annotated as Logie Mill (Wood, flour). These are now ruinous, but buildings in the centre of the original site still remain in residential use.
