Full Description

Site of a limestone quarry, dating from the mid 18th century, depicted on historic OS maps. It is shown on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps as an Old Quarry. Two buildings are shown near the roadside, of which the southwestern one appears to remain. See NO66SE0035 for adjacent limekilns.
