Former corn mill and farmstead with a B-listed farmhouse, now in residential use.

Former corn mill and farmstead with a B-listed farmhouse, now in residential use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as two U-plan ranges open to the southeast, the western of which has an 18th century farmhouse in the centre block and a large enclosure to the south. There are four additional associated outbuildings. The 2nd edition OS map shows additions to the eastern range. One of the associated buildings has also been removed. The 1st and 2nd edition OS maps also show a mill lade, weir and sluice to the west, leading to a sluice within the building complex. The building which stood between the ranges has since been removed, and the pond and lades infilled. The listed farmhouse in the western range is a two-storey, three-bay harled building without margins. It has a porch with Roman-Doric columns, a block entablature and a pediment.

Period Notes
The farmhouse is 18th century, and there are various 19th century and modern alterations to the mill buildings. The farmhouse was listed on 11/06/1971.
