Full Description
Farmstead still in use. Depicted on the 1st edition OS map as rectangular in plan with a central open court. The east side has a north extension , with a possible horsemill lying against its eastern side. Another building also lies against the eastern side. To the southeast is the house and garden. To the north is another small building ,and to the north and northeast are two tree-lined enclosures. Southwest of the farm at NO 6738 5454 is a mill dam with lade leading to the farm. By the 2nd edition the central court has been built over. All other features are still depicted although the trees have now been removed from the edges of the enclosures. The farm has now been altered with modern additions, and an other house lies to the east. The mill dam appears to still survive although partially filled.
