STONE-BUILT SLUICE, PARTLY CONSTRUCTED OF LARGE REUSED STONE BLOCKS FROM ELSEWHERE, ALLOWING A STREAM TO FLOW THROUGH INTO MONTROSE BASIN. POSSIBLY ASSOCIATED WITH ROSSIE MILLS. Recorded during coastal zone assessment survey carried out by SCAPE between February and March 2009.
